Inspired by the in-person experience of Jeff Kasper’s wrestling embrace, this one-hour Zoom workshop is structured around interactive, reflective activities designed to creatively explore themes of distance, boundaries, and trust.
Participants will:
Begin with a brief grounding and access check-in (5 min)
Engage in a storytelling prompt in breakout pairs (15 min)
Participate in a guided mapping activity using simple drawing tools or digital whiteboard features customized with wrestling embrace tools and worksheets (15 min)
Contribute to a group dialogue using the chat, visual and verbal responses (15 min)
Close with a reflective writing prompt and invitation to continue the conversation beyond the session (10 min)
The format encourages active participation in a low-pressure, trauma-informed environment. Participants are encouraged to bring a trusted friend or peer they haven’t yet discussed boundaries or safety with, to explore those themes together using the wrestling embrace tools and associated creative media during the pair work section. No prior experience required. Just openness to reflect and share.
