Final Friday - Featuring Jess Walters
Final Friday is a favorite event of both UVA students and the Charlottesville community for decades. Held on the last Friday of the month during the academic year, all are welcome to come and enjoy art, music, food, and a variety of activities, such as art making and student docent-led gallery talks.

Jerron Herman: LAX
LAX is a site-responsive accessible installation for atypical spaces. The performance whimsically examines the “athleticism of rest” through a dynamic solo with participatory activities, underscored by an ecstatic soundscape. LAX is created and performed by renowned choreographer, dancer, and performance artist Jerron Herman, with textiles by Sugandha Gupta, centering text, movement, and disability aesthetics. The evening works to calm the system{zzzzz} we all encounter.

JJJJJerome Ellis: Sonic Bathhouse #2
A contemplative drop-in concert of digital soundscapes, hammered dulcimer hymns, and cascading saxophone melodies. With this music, acclaimed artist JJJJJerome Ellis creates space for slowing down.

Jeff Kasper: wrestling embrace
Inspired by the in-person experience of Jeff Kasper’s wrestling embrace, this one-hour Zoom workshop is structured around interactive, reflective activities designed to creatively explore themes of distance, boundaries, and trust.
