Final Friday is a favorite event of both UVA students and the Charlottesville community for decades. Held on the last Friday of the month during the academic year, all are welcome to come and enjoy art, music, food, and a variety of activities, such as art making and student docent-led gallery talks.
This Final Friday will feature Jess Walters, a mixed-media artist, Board Certified Patient Advocate, and independent scholar currently serving as the FusionLab Arts Research Fellow in the Center for Health Humanities and Ethics. Through their community-based initiatives and creative endeavors, they aspire to create opportunities for people to connect through art, inspiring experiences of communal reverence.
